Even today, the 17th-generation family continues to protect the farm, and the 88-year-old trees still bear fruit.

In the Meiji era, the wife of the 15th head of the family, Tsuyako, was a princess of the Tayasu-Tokugawa clan, and had her own room called the "Otsurunoma"(room of the crane). The name has been passed down in Shotokan for many years. The crane is a symbol of longevity and was a special animal for feudal lords.
Because the rooms are not adjacent to each other, they are ideal for those who want to spend their time in a quiet environment. Guests can enjoy special books selected by a descendant of the Tachibana clan specifically for this room.
